Your stem cells are hidden treasures. These sleeping beauties are a virtual treasure chest of healing support just waiting for their handsome prince to awaken them into action. The bone marrow is the treasure chest of all treasure chests. Its soft inner part is the "marrow" and is full of stem cells just waiting to be awakened. Unfortunately, in most cases it takes more than a kiss from a handsome prince to awaken these sleeping beauties. Just like humans, some people are easily arousable and jump right out of bed ready to go to work but more often than not the average person would rather pull the covers up over their head and try to sleep more instead of jumping out of bed. Thus to get immediate support for healing, a physician has to go into their bedroom and drag them out of their beds and throw them onto the freeway and hope that once they are on the freeway they will see their exit and get to work. The technique we use to do this is "Bone Marrow Stem Cell Therapy" or "Bone Marrow Transplantation". This relatively simple and safe technique is a world away from the traditional use of the same technique where it has been used for years in cancer therapy.
In cancer therapy, the body and bone marrow are nearly or all killed by chemotherapeutic drugs or radiation in an attempt to rid the body of cancer. If these poisons kill all of the person's bone marrow, the person will die since their body no longer is able to make red or white blood cells which are essential to life. To rescue the person whose bone marrow has been destroyed, replacing the bone marrow by a bone marrow transplant is commonly done by using either the person's own bone marrow that has previously been removed and refrigerated or by using another person's bone marrow. The high death rate and complications from this procedure are due to the prolonged time for the bone marrow to grow back during which time the immune system is not present, which permits deadly infections to occur.
Your stem cells are stored in the deepest most hidden, and protected parts of your organs and tissues for a good reason. The hidden nature and their lack of metabolic activity is one of the things that make them so special. They are isolated from much of the damaging chemicals that pass through the tissues moment by moment during regular metabolism. This protects their genes and structures so that when needed, your tissues will have "fresh" cells just like you had to start with as a baby. So in some ways every time you are injured and your body attempts to heal the injury, it is as if that body part is becoming a baby once more and having to go through the same growth process it went through as it was developing as a baby. If the starting cells of this process had been exposed to all of the poisons that pass through your tissues daily, their genes would have become mutated and your tissues would not heal correctly.
The most exciting research occurring today is finding ways to grow adult stem cells in the laboratory by manipulating them to generate specific cell types and then discovering the best methods of encouraging them to grow into and to repair damaged tissues.
There are many types of stem cells now available and we have found that:
Combinations of primitive and specific stem cells injected intravenously, or into or near the site of disease or injury is a beneficial therapy for the condition.
The more types of stem cells we use, the better the clinical outcome.
The more that the bone marrow stem cells called "mesenchymal stem cells" are used in combination with umbilical cord stem cells, the better the clinical results.
Old injuries have healed blood vessels which do not attract stem cells unless something is done to "re-injure" these inner blood vessel walls. We have developed many techniques to do this without causing undue harm to the patient. See Natural Transplantation Conditioning for more information.
Some examples of successful bone marrow therapies include helping damaged joints such as occurs in osteoarthritis (otherwise known as djd = degenerative joint disease); Parkinson's patients in combination with various "handsome princes" such as Neupogen, erythropoietin and growth hormone; an acute stroke or acute heart attack; macular degeneration; diabetic retinopathy; kidney disease; autoimmune disease; aging; etc. The possibilities for success in repairing and regenerating injured and diseased tissues and organs are amazing. Thus far, the best possible results have come from a combination of types of cells, as occurs naturally in the body, rather than just one type of cell and by following the rules outlined above.
Our clinical experience has shown without question that by using your own bone marrow stem cells as therapy, you can now harness the power of your own stem cells for personalized regenerative therapies and it is legal, ethical and safe!
The best news is that the therapies are relatively inexpensive and generally effective for the conditions being targeted.
For more information about stem cell types, get a copy of the first book ever published on clinical applications achievable with adult stem cells called: "Umbilical Cord Stem Cell Therapy: The Gift of Healing from Healthy Newborns" by Drs. Steenblock and Payne.
UMBILICAL CORD STEM CELL THERAPY by David Steenblock, D.O. and Anthony Payne, Ph.D. can now be ordered by calling the clinic (800) 300-1063 or you can purchase the book directly from this website by clicking the "Add to Cart" button below.
This book presents case studies of umbilical cord stem cells being used to treat patients with cancer, cerebral palsy, stroke, ALS, MS and other challenging medical conditions.

The clinical techniques that we have developed may not all be within standard medical practice and our clinic clients must give their prior informed consent for the use of their own bone marrow stem cells as a potentially beneficial therapy, but not as standard treatment for disease.
